THE OBSERVER
The Observer is the leading student newspaper for the tri-campus community of the University of Notre Dame, Saint Mary’s College, and Holy Cross College. Ayden Kowalski wrote for its arts and entertainment section, Scene, between 2022 and 2025 while he earned his undergraduate degree at Notre Dame. He served as a copy editor for Scene starting in the 2022-2023 academic year, continuing until his graduation. As an author for Scene, Kowalski worked principally as a critic, evaluating and reflecting on contemporary music, films, television, theatre and more.
